Our farm is run on a sustainable, non-intensive basis, our aim being to exist in harmony with nature. We believe that this is the right approach, and one which allows us to produce food of the very highest quality. |
| Our chickens have access through all daylight hours to pastureland. They spend the nights in the barn, laying eggs in the morning before leaving for their daily forage for food amongst the cattle in the fields. Of course we see that they're fed too - on wheat that we grow in another part of the farm. |

We have a herd of pedigree Simmental cattle, which we breed for beef.
Each of these animals is fully traceable (with DNA records used to verify their lineage), with family histories going back many generations. This allows us to choose sires that are not closely related to their mates, thereby helping to strengthen the breed's gene pool. |

We are particularly proud of our herd of Saddleback sows, which we breed for the excellent quality of their pork when crossed with a Welsh Boar.
With their inquisitive nature and striking appearance (their "saddle" backs), these friendly pigs are a pleasure to have on the farm. |
